Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
Vicky and I were down in Rockport several years ago. I went to the rear window and I looked out and I saw about a three and a half foot bird on top of a pointed roof. It looked like Sandhill Crane. It had landed on top of a pointed roof on the house behind ours. A water bird lands very near or in the water. I glanced away for a few seconds and then my eyes came back to the bird… but he was gone.
I thought about it for a few minutes and then I asked God, “Isn’t that extremely unusual?”
He answered me, “No… it just happened.”
I had to laugh… but the more I thought about it, the more I understood that He was telling me something about what was coming. There are going to be things that happen that seem extremely unusual… things that have never happened before… but those type of things will happen more and more. The unusual is coming for those whose eyes are open and prepared to see it. Take notice of what seems very unusual and question God about it. Signs and wonders are coming… be looking for them… the unusual.
The Holy Spirit is doing a new thing. Things that you never thought of or never dreamed of before… are going to start happening. You’ll see in the spirit what God wants… and you must do what you see in the Spirit. The only way that you will see His power released in the natural is if you do what you see in the spirit. And, of course… it takes faith to do what no one else sees but you.
