:O Paul issues a warning to all torah keepers in Gal 5:4..

“You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.”

Paul is not discussing here in Gal 5:4 whether a “genuine” believer can lose his or her salvation..

But rather, Paul is only saying, that people who have made a profession of faith in the past but now are seeking to be justified by the law, must not really have a genuine relationship with Christ after all, and have fallen away from grace that was offered and available to them… {torah keepers}

If righteousness was through the law, then Christ’s death would have been pointless, for then man could work out his justification by his obedience to it…

But by grace through faith is the “only” acceptable way of salvation..NOT of works…

” I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died in vain.” Gal 2:21

A genuine believer waits for the hope of righteousness that is produced by the work of Christ not by their “own” efforts in the keeping of feasts, dietary laws and Sabbath…

Faith in Christ brings about not only justification before God, but also growth in the believer’s life, until we are “completely” glorified by God and freed from the presence of SIN…

We can be assured that we will be declared RiGHTEOUS before the Lord on the last day…as we are eternally SECURE in Him…
